Role description:
Volunteers in this role will provide advice to engineers, assess the needs of self-referred individuals with disabilities, identify whether commercially available healthcare equipment can meet those needs, and actively participate in the requirements and design process for bespoke solutions.
Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Experience as an occupational therapist or similar health professional.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of existing commercially available healthcare equipment.
Ability to work independently.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
