Help us inspire the engineers of the future by volunteering to help us deliver learning events across the year at the National Railway Museum, including one of the biggest events of the year - Future Engineers.
You don’t need to have any engineering or railway experience; just lots of enthusiasm for helping our visitors enjoy their visit to the museum by encouraging them to take part in our activities.
You will welcome visitors to our events and help people navigate their way through the bustling learning activities, live demonstrations and talks happening around the museum. You might get involved in activities run by our learning team by giving families one to one help.
You will be volunteering for our Autumn 2019 Future Engineers season running between 26 October and 3 November. At the end of the event you can choose whether you’d like to stop volunteering or continue in this volunteer role.
