Role description:
MySight York is a local charity. This role will form part of the Lottery Community Fund Project. The aim of the project is to link people with sight loss to their community giving them choice, independence, confidence, reduce isolation and a greater sense of health and wellbeing. The project provides clients with support to gain the skills and confidence to access the activities independently, initially with a volunteer. Support can range from a few weeks to a few months and therefore volunteers do not to need to be able to commit to long-term volunteering.
