Champions make sure that everything comes together on the day so that the Dojo can run. A champion doesn’t need to know how to code. They just need to have a passion for the CoderDojo mission and the drive to make things happen. Many champions without technical skills have been running successful Dojos for years! You'll work closely with the Keeping Digital Foundation and York CoderDojo to manage and advertise your activities.

Keeping Digital Foundation also provides regular training sessions that you can attend and sends newsletters of interesting external talks for you to attend for free to further develop yourself as an individual and a team.
When are volunteers needed: Mostly weekday evenings, but there is the option to work during the day and on weekends - just list your availability on your application.
