Role description:
Wednesday 10am to 2pm sometimes finish earlier.
and/or Friday 12.30pm to 1.30pm. on a rota bases with other volunteers.
Helping and supporting those attending our Foodshare, being kind understanding and supportive.
Recording who attends.
Fill shelves with donations.
Set up tables and gazebo as needed.
Supporting good choices and encouraging sharing with others.
Clearing away and cleaning after.

Skills and behaviours needed for the role:
Caring, good communicator, understanding, good health, physically well for lifting activities.

Will there be a DBS check? No

Driving Licence required? No

Volunteer's own vehicle required? No

Volunteers with limited English

What will the volunteer gain/benefit from:
Will gain understanding of families enduring challenges in their lives, pressures others face. Will develop empathy and supporting skills which could be useful experience for future career/other voluntary work.

When are volunteers needed: Wednesday 10am to 1.30pm sometime later or after depending on weather and amount of people attending. and/or Friday 12.30pm to 1.30pm This is shared work with other volunteers so on rota.
