Accelerate - Supporting young people to progress into learning and work

Key Worker – York and North Yorkshire
(covering Craven, Harrogate, York and Selby districts)

1 x Key Worker - (£21,000 - £25,700 pro rata). This position is .8 (ie 30 hours per week)
Aspire-igen Ltd is committed to changing lives through learning and work. We have a strong track record of successfully delivering employability, training and guidance services across Yorkshire and the Humber.
We are delighted to have been successful in securing new programmes funded by the European Structural & Investment Fund and the Education & Skills Funding Agency which will work with young people 15 to 24 years, at risk of and those already NEET to increase their skills, confidence and ability to progress into Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Education and Employment.

This programme is closely aligned with Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Skills Plans and will be delivered in schools and community settings. You will be required to deliver regulated and non-regulated learning to groups of young people up to a Level 1 in Employability. If you have the skills, commitment and determination needed to achieve in these challenging but highly rewarding roles, supporting young people to succeed, we would like to hear from you.

Accelerate is funded for 3 years and commenced April 1st, 2019.
