Healthwatch York helps put people at the heart of health and social care services. One of the main things we do is listen to people about health and social care services in York. Earlier in the year we asked people what they would like us to look at this year. The topics most people wanted us to explore were changes to services and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT).
To begin our work on this we want to find out more about people’s experiences of changes to services over the last twelve months, both positive or negative. While we are happy to hear about any changes that have impacted on you we are especially interested in hearing about the following services:
- Anti-coagulation Service
- Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)
- Body Mass Index (BMI) and Smoking Thresholds for Elective Surgery
You can leave your feedback by going to the survey https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/changestoservices
You can also contact us to tell us your experiences in any of the ways shown below.
Catherine Scott, interim Healthwatch York Manager said: “We welcome people’s feedback about their health and care services all year round. But we also want to look in greater detail at some issues that have been highlighted to us so we can put forward those experiences and make recommendations to providers. We want to hear from as many people as possible to make sure that residents of York are at the heart of health and social care services in the city.”
We will be writing a report and making recommendations using the information you give us. All the information we received will be treated confidentially and remain anonymous.
We are always keen to have any feedback on health and social care services. You can use our ‘rate and review’ feedback centre on our website: www.healthwatchyork.co.uk/your-feedback, email us: firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone us on 01904 621133.
