Funding of up to £10k available for either core organisational costs or project specific costs (grants typically average around £5k)
Funding focus:
Through its grant making and ‘Funder Plus’ model, the JRHT York Committee is committed to supporting local #NeverMoreNeeded voluntary and community groups, which help people in York from being swept further and deeper into poverty.
Current funding priorities focus on:
a) providing access to high quality advice services, including advice on benefits, debt, housing, and information and advocacy for individuals at risk of being pulled into poverty, and;
b) community based activities which prevent or reduce social isolation, where poverty is a contributing factor or barrier.
