Stories from York Floods

Two Ridings Community Foundation has published new films which vividly tell the stories of three families’ experiences of the Boxing Day 2015 floods. The families all living in different parts of York, tell of their shock at being flooded, the impact on their lives and their recovery story over the last year. Two Ridings Community Foundation, which administers the York and North Yorkshire Flood Recovery Funds, has distributed more the one million pounds so far to help those affected by the flooding in York and North Yorkshire.
