Events and Voluntary Sector Forums

York CVS represents and advocates for the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in York. Our voluntary sector forums play a key role in transmitting ideas, views and critical challenge to and from the sector and public bodies in York.

Our voluntary sector forums are open events that focus on discussing topic-specific issues that impact people living in York. We bring the sector together to work in partnership to share best practice and sector developments, tackle inequalities, and to positively influence strategic decision making. The general format of the forums includes an introduction from an expert speaker followed by active discussions to explore how we can work together as a sector to tackle some of these issues.
