Ready For Anything Coordinator

June 2017

Dear applicant,

Here at York CVS, we are pleased to be offering an interesting and important opportunity in partnership with City of York Council, as the Ready for Anything Coordinator. This role has been developed by Debbie Megone, who leaves us at the end of July to take us a sabbatical in South Africa.

This is an important role, coordinating all aspects of York CVS’s emergency volunteering/community resilience work. Recent events in London at Grenfell Towers have reminded us all of the importance of an effective, humane and well coordinated response to such situations.

The Coordinator is based at York CVS (15 hours per week). We are looking for a well organised, flexible and good team player to grow and develop the work over the next nine months or so until March 2018.

The closing date is midday on Monday 10 July. Interviews will be held at York CVS on Friday 14 July.

Salary: £25,417 – £27,099 (pro-rata 15 hours per week)

If interested, read on! You’ll find all the details. Call me if you’d like an informal chat once you’ve read them on 01904 621133 or email sue.collins@yorkcvs.org.uk.
