Voluntary Voice

Voluntary Voice is published ten times a year, at the beginning of every month except January and August. It is posted to all members of York CVS, and other subscribers. (link to membership page) You can also download it here as a pdf file.

It includes a variety of information that local voluntary and community organisations may need to know about but don’t always have time to keep track of themselves:

News from local organisations – new groups, new services, changes

Developments in statutory organisations – policy or funding issues

Reports from the voluntary sector networks, and voluntary sector representatives on partnership boards

Funding information – new sources, or imminent deadlines, provided by our Funding Adviser

Volunteering news

National issues – initiatives from Government that affect the third sector

Resources – publications and websites that can help you in your work

Training courses

Diary pages – meetings and events provided by York CVS and others.
