Charlie Sanders, the Volunteer Centre Manager, is here to find out what you are interested in and help you to find the opportunity that is right for you.

Have a look at our leaflet 'Helping you to help your community' for details about volunteering.

You can fill in the Volunteer Registration Form, which will help you to think about volunteering and narrow down the opportunities to the one that is right for you. You can fill it in and return it to Charlie by email or post.

You can also look at the www.do-it.org.uk website and search on volunteering opportunities in your area. Get in touch with Charlie if you have any questions.

Volunteering Opportunities for Young people

Get in touch to find out how you can get your volunteering accredited through Millennium Volunteers.

Looking for volunteers?

If you are a not for profit, statutory or voluntary organisation looking for volunteers, Charlie can help. She can provide information and advice about good practice and help you to support volunteers involved in your work.

You can register your vacancy on the national volunteering website www.do-it.org.uk where potential volunteers search for opportunities in their area, by postcode. Please complete the volunteer opportunities form and return it to Charlie.

You can also book an appointment to discuss your volunteer programme and find out how to support your volunteers effectively.

We also have the Volunteering Network for people in voluntary, community and statutory organisations who recruit, organise and train volunteers, which meets every quarter to discuss best practice and share ideas. Please contact Charlie if you would like to come along to the next meeting.
