New training programme

Many thanks to everyone who replied to our recent survey about training needs. This has been used to plan a very exciting range of courses. We are pleased that we have been able to work with other local training providers in putting together the programme below– particularly the North Yorkshire Forum for Voluntary Organisations, and the "Higher York! partnership of Higher Education providers in the city. Courses from these providers are listed in the brochure for information – please contact the provider for further information and bookings.

York Training and Development Unit

All training opportunities from the City of York Council for those working with and for children and their families are now managed, commissioned and facilitated through a specialist team known as the Training and Development Unit.

The TDU website advertises all courses and training opportunities it provides. The site enables you to browse courses, make bookings and keep a record of your training history. This private log of information is very useful when looking back at what training you have done and when you did it.
