Funding Advice

York CVS offers a free funding advice service to voluntary and community groups and other not-for-profit projects in the York area. The service provides:

one-to-one advice sessions at the Priory Street Centre or at your own venue, using specialist funding software: Funderfinder, Grantfinder and Trustfunding.org  

you can also download a list of York Charitable Trusts that will support local organisations 

you can also download a list of grant making trusts that will support individuals 

visits to speak about fundraising to groups and networks

the Funding Training Programme – an affordable introduction to fundraising, consisting of six 2½ - 3 hour interactive sessions held over six weeks. Both daytime and evening courses are offered

the annual York Funding Fair – an opportunity to meet funders face-to-face and learn top tips for raising money
