Selby District Volunteer Centre: Volunteers and Your Organisation Training Session

The first of five sessions (which can be booked individually) helping organisations in the recruitment, training and management of volunteers.

Session Aims:
 
To help organisations understand what is needed for successful involvement of volunteers.
 
 
Objectives:
 
Participants will be able to confirm:
  • The potential benefits of involving volunteers
  • The legal implications of involving volunteers and how and where to get help and guidance 
  • The National Standards in place to help organisations involve volunteers successfully 
  • The current readiness and next steps of the organisation to involve volunteers

 

Cost:

Voluntary and community groups £20/session.

Public sector organisations £30/session

Private sector organisations £50/session

10% discount when all 5 sessions are booked in advance

 

This training session is open to all organisations.
