Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults: Level 1 - Alerter

This course is aimed at carers, staff, volunteers and trustees who work with or support vulnerable adults.

The training will cover:

·       definitions used within safeguarding vulnerable adults
·       recognising signs and symptoms of abuse
·       the process and practicalities of recording and reporting possible incidents of abuse
 
Course participants will receive a full electronic resource pack to reflect on after the training course, as well as a copy of a model Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy.
 

This course is essential for all staff and volunteers who have day-to-day contact with vulnerable adults. It is also recommended for trustees with lead responsibility in implementing and overseeing their organisation’s Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy.
