Community Buildings Information Network

Clementhorpe Room, Priory Street Centre, York York Council for Voluntary Service is to launch a Community Buildings Information Network aimed at those who manage and maintain buildings, office space and other property assets for local voluntary / community organisations.
It’s anticipated that the network will provide a forum to:
- share information, resources and skills
- raise awareness of good practice, policy and relevant legislation
- discuss and debate issues relating to property and facilities management
- share news of events and conferences
- work with relevant partners to ensure best use of community and public assets across the city
- promote innovative building management that supports and complements the wider work of the voluntary and community sector.
The network will be launched on Thursday 26th May and will be of particular interest to facilities / building managers, office managers responsible for property, caretaking / maintenance staff and trustees.
