Information about many of the voluntary and community organisations active in the city can be found on the VCS Directory - an A - Z of voluntary and community organisations supporting individuals and running activities throughout York and North Yorkshire. This single source of information about voluntary and community groups in the area is jointly operated by 18 local infrastructure organisations in the sub-region, including York CVS.

The VCS Directory is fully searchable, by geographic area, by user groups, and by areas of interest or types of service provided. Organisations are listed with brief details of their activities and information on how to contact them.
