Volunteering Opportunity of the Week: Project Mala

Every week, the Volunteer Centre York team at York CVS will be bringing you details of a volunteering opportunity we think you'll be interested in.

Our first Volunteering Opportunity of the Week is with Project Mala, a York-based action organisation aiming to provide non-formal education for children in India to help them from entering child labour.

Project Mala are looking for a Sponsorship Administration Assistant.  The voluntary role involves keeping sponsors up-to-date with information and photographs of the children they sponsor by providing them support with accessing the project website.

For this role, potential volunteers should have experience in using computers and making telephone calls, as well as a willingness to meet with and talk to new people.
