Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

The Lord Mayor of York would like to invite you to apply for the Young Volunteers Award to thank you for your contribution to York’s communities. The award recognises the time you’ve committed, the skills you’ve developed, and the difference you’ve made to the people of York.  We are also keen to share your stories to inspire others and provide you with something to show to future employers.

Therefore if you are aged between 11 and 25 and have completed around 25 hours or more of volunteering in the last 18 months then we’d strongly encourage you to apply by downloading the application form below. The form contains examples and guidance notes, but if you have any questions please contact Volunteering York by e-mailing info@yorkcares.co.uk  You are welcome to apply for this award alongside any others you may currently be working towards.

The Lord Mayor of York Young Volunteers Award is co-ordinated by the Volunteering York Partnership, which is supported by York Council for Voluntary Service, City of York Council and York Cares. It has been designed with help from the Youth Council and schools, colleges and universities in York.
