Community accounting service

The aim of the Community Accounting Service is to improve the sustainability of voluntary and community groups through improving their knowledge and understanding of voluntary and community sector finances.

It is a flexible resource that works to suit the needs of the voluntary sector and provides training, advice and support in relation to accounting matters, procedures and financial management, together with help and guidance on statutory requirements.

The service also offers an affordable Accounts Preparation and Independent Examination service to local voluntary groups and is a member of the Community Accounting Network North Yorkshire (CANNY).
