Accreditation

Accreditation means gaining Awards & Certificates through the voluntary work you do, these look good on your CV when applying for jobs or college courses.

Accreditation currently on offer:

v 50 Award

This is for anyone taking part in volunteering activities. It doesn’t need to be just one placement, it could be several.

You count your volunteering hours till you get to 50 ( they soon mount up! ) You also collect evidence of your volunteering activity in the form of photos, written statements etc…

Then when you get to 50 hours you fill in a short section about your experiences volunteering & that’s all you need to do. Bring it in to Lisa Youth Volunteer Adviser & she will sort out your Award. Very simple J

  v impact

This is for anyone taking part in volunteering activities that has already completed the v 50 Award.

The v Impact Award is designed to recognise and celebrate the time and effort you have spent volunteering, and to enable you to explain to friends, colleges, universities and potential employers:

The positive difference or impact you have made through your volunteering

The skills you have developed and gained through your volunteering experiences
